In the lecture and exercise of the module Agile Management, the basics of agility are taught. Students learn what constitutes an agile approach and how additional value can be created in practice through the application of methods based on agility. Four topics are covered in the module. The first thematic focus is on the “Motivation and origins of agility”, in the context of which, for example, the history of the emergence of agility is considered. Furthermore, the topic complex “Collaboration as a foundation” deals with successful teamwork and communication. In addition, students will learn strategies for effective delivery. Furthermore, reflection and improvement, as cornerstones of continuous development are being discussed. The interactively designed event is offered in cooperation with codecentric AG, whose lecturers have several years of practical experience in various industries.

The module examination for the course Agile Management comprises a practical task on an assigned topic in group work, the result of which is submitted in the form of a video and a short final report.
