Ruchi Dhiman is research associate at chair in Information and Service Systems (ISS), faculty of Business Administration, Saarland University, Germany.

Short Biography

Ruchi completed a four year bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering, during September 2012 from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India. During her bachelor studies she had the oppurtunity to study for two semesters at University of Applied Sciences (UAS), Mannheim, Germany. She wrote her Bachelor thesis "A New Optimized Algorithm for Cascade Correlation Architecture" at the chair of Prof. Dr. Jörn Fischer in UAS Mannheim. Recently, she successfully completed her masters degree at Universität des Saarlandes (UdS). She wrote her Master thesis "A numerical approach to stiff master equation models" at the Modeling and Simulation chair of Prof. Dr. Verena Wolf.

The lecture "Fundamentals of Business Administration" woke her interest in Economics. She pursued her interests in this area through lectures on topics like start-up establishment, trading systems, mathematical methods in financial planning and logistics.

During her bachelor and master studies she completed 5 internships of a 10 month duration, among others at Tata Consultancy Services, Bangalore that lead to a Publication. Apart from her mother tongue Telegu and Hindi, she speaks German, English and French fluently.

Research Interests

Her research interests lie in applied mathematics and computer science.
