Description

The lecture "Artificial Intelligence in Companies" teaches the basics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and shows potential for use in an entrepreneurial context. The objective is to convey an understanding of the variety of problems that can be solved by various methods that involve AI. The focus is on a logical understanding of how AI algorithms work. The reference to practical use is supported by a series of guest lectures by representatives of leading user companies and providers of AI software. After this lecture, students are able to assess which basic AI technologies can be used for which entrepreneurial tasks.

Lecture

  • Teaching the basics of artificial intelligence for non-engineers and non-computer scientists, including teaching practical relevance through guest lectures by companies from different industries on the current state of application of artificial intelligence.
  • The lecture "Information Management" is recommended

Exam

The lecture covers a module exam consisting of an exam (120 minutes) and the evaluation of the exercise, prepared by oneself or in groups. The module grade is composed as follows: 80% exam, 20% exercise.
