How can one manage Innovations in a way that is optimal from an economic, ecological and ethical point of view? The Lecture Innovation Management provides an answer to this question by focusing on topics like Knowledge Management, Innovation Strategy, Experimental Strategies, Open Innovation as well as Adoption and Diffusion. The theoretical foundations will be backed by Guest Lectures and small projects in the exercises. Upon finishing this course the students will be able to specify and manage Stage-Gate–Processes, to understand and define Innovation strategies as well as to deploy patent management and strategic partnerships & Co in a meaningful way.

The lecture covers a module exam consisting of an exam (120 minutes) and the evaluation of the exercise. The module grade is composed as follows: 80% exam, 20% exercise.
