The German radio station SR 2 reported about the intelligent bathroom, which has been developed in the project IKS at chair ISS. The radio feature - broadcasted on Wednesday, 9th - can be heard on the media website of the radio station.

In the context of the 6th national IT-Summit, a PhD student of the ISS chair – Sabine Janzen - was selected as „high potential“ for the pilot phase of the Software Campus programme. Together with ten other master or PhD students, she will be funded for two years by the Software Campus - a public-private partnership of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the IT industry.

The Research Center for Intelligent Media (RCIM) presented itself on this year's business networking forum of Furtwangen University with a modern Science Marketing concept. The visitors were individually welcomed by an interactive media installation. The used software processed the video feed of a camera to detect the visitors' faces and addressed each person directly.
